A Great Day Going to Mansilla de las Mullas

We left our wonderful host and hostess from last night after they served up a breakfast that was the best yet on the Camino. The weather was cool as we left but it soon warmed up. At the first village we came to, we stopped for grocery supplies. The grocer was most kind and generous. He let us use his bathroom and rounded the price down rather than up.

We were graced again today by the scenery. A bright blue sky that went on forever in the morning, gathered white fluffy clouds as the day progressed. It was a good day for quiet contemplation and reflection.

The albergue that we are staying at tonight has a restaurant attached to it and it is currently filled with Spaniards who are having a great time singing up a storm. Some of the songs seem a little raunchy, given the actions that go with them.

We met up with some pilgrims who we walked with at the beginning of our trek but hadn't seen in some time. They are staying at the same albergue.

Tomorrow we are off to Leon where there is a festival happening.
