On to Logrono and the Wine Festival

We started out bright and early this morning as we were told that due to the wine festival in Logrono beds were limited, even for pilgrims. We arrived by 12:30 and had to wait in line for an hour before they opened the door to let the weary pilgrims in. Lucky for us we have a bed as the albergue is now full.

The scenery today was not as spectacular as other days but lovely non the less. Logrono has many interesting churches but they were overshadowed by the multitude of people celebrating  the festival.

The streets were so crowded it was hard to move on some streets and we wisely avoided them.

Our bodies are a little weary but are spirits are good and we have already walked 175 km.
